When timeouts go completely WRONG!
We have a cool out/timeout spot for our kids in the house.
Yes, our 2 year old needs a chill/time out corner as well.
We kept the nursing pillow from when DJ was a baby and it has been a HIT!
When it's chill/time out time, we place G in the pillow curve and tell her don't move and we walk away. She faces the wall and looks down at her feet. It's kind of funny to watch because she very rarely cries. She just sits there!
Yesterday, D had to put her in timeout for throwing the ipad on the floor.
He walked away and "forgot" he left her there.
Next thing we hear, knocking on the wall.
G was saying, Daddy, hello Daddy, can I come in! LOL
Oh well, needless to say, if you're going to put your kids in timeout, don't forget them!

The Man Who Came To Dinner-Pensacola Little Theater
I am on a serious HIGH right now! Today was opening NIGHT for the Play.
The Man Who Came To Dinner was a SMASH HIT!!
The best part was the receiving line. After the show, we all go out to greet the audience members and I lost count on how many people told me they really enjoyed the show and how much they liked my part in the play!
Awwwwwww made me feel so special. The best responses were about my voice projection. A lot of people said they were able to hear me very clearly and thought I had a great role in the play.
My role in the play: Sarah, the cook - Tanyetta McKoy
I am excited and need to go to sleep because I have 6 more shows to go!
The entire cast is amazing and everyone involved in the show really came together to pull this magnificent piece of artistry together.
If you're in town and able to check out the show, I would LOVE to see you there!
Good Night!

When Ads can go wrong!
This ad could go so many ways! She could be giving him the pan as a present OR she could be getting ready to smash him in the head! Hah! Let's hope it's the first choice for his sake :)

Sew Much Fun!
My friend Elizabeth gave me a few sewing lessons last month!
I must say, it was a lot of fun and A LOT to learn :)
Today's lesson focused on threading, measuring and simple hem projects.
I am looking forward to the next lesson!

Gift from DJ's Teacher!
Hello Blogging Friends.
Wow!
What a sweet Surprise! DJ's teacher sent this thank you package home today.
It was totally unexpected and very very thoughtful of her.
We are going to miss her and hope we will get another GREAT and AWESOME teacher next year!
Thankfully he attends an "A" rated school so we don't have to worry if his First Grade Teacher is Awesome.
All of the Teachers are AWESOME!
Time to get started with our Summer Plans!
We have a LONG list of activities to keep us busy!
Have a great Summer!

Women, Friends and The Clock!
I think this is one of the neatest things I have ever read.
To the women I'm sending this to:
Thank you for being you.
The Clock
God doesn't give you the people you want; He gives you the people you NEED... to help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be.
I LOVE YOU!!!!!
NOW, YOU'RE ON THE CLOCK!!!!
IN 9 MINUTES SOMETHING WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY,
BUT YOU HAVE TO TELL 9 SISTERS YOU LOVE THEM INCLUDING ME.. GO!!!!
One Flaw In Women
Women have strengths that amaze men....
They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in..
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have vital things to say and everything to give..
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN, IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.
Please pass this along to all your women friends and relatives to remind them just how amazing they are.
