Hello Everyone!

I hope you're spending time with the one you love.

My husband recently gave me a note card that said he loved me, 1985-Life.

Ummm... is that a death sentence?  LOL!  It's his way of being romantic.  I wouldn't have it any other way!

Ok, I couldn't resist posting this photo.  You know we were way too young having babies back them talking about we are in love!  Why didn't somebody snatch us up?  Oh wait, they did. That was my momma when she came and snatched me up out of his house at 9pm at night.  Whew, those were the good old days. 

Look at us now, still at it.  Too Funny!!! Whew.

Note to parents, don't be so adamant on telling your kids how much you can't stand their "love choice" it just might make them run into their arms even more.  Ask me how I know~  hah!

Painting with a Twist!

I had the best Birthday Celebration this past weekend.  A local shop, Painting with a Twist, advertised a Facebook contest to win a Painting Session.  I kept calling and calling and each time, she would answer and say you're NOT the 10th caller.  No worries, I don't easily give up.  I called back and called back and the last time I called, the phone RANG for a LONG time.  Then all of a sudden the owner answered and said, you're the 10th caller!  I started screaming!  LOL!

Too funny!  She said she was hoping I would win because I was so determined and the best part was when I told her my birthday was the day before.  She was genuinely happy for me.

Needless to say my friend Laura Vargas saw the posting and called and said she would come and spend the session with me in celebration of my special day!

We had a blast and let me tell you, if I can paint, anyone can paint!  SERIOUSLY speaking, the artist was very patient and took you step by step by the painting to help you create a very unique masterpiece.  The best part, each and every painting was different and we all loved how they turned out!
