I LOVE LOVE LOVE hearing about generosity for Military Families. Especially PREGNANT military mommies! I was so excited to hear my sweet friend Jinelle along with a great group of military pregnant mommies, received a very generous Baby Shower sponsored by the March of Dimes.

On the road AGAIN!
We are planning a trip to see my brother in South Carolina in a few weeks. The one drawback about traveling is packing. I have to admit, I truly HATE to pack and to unpack. LOVE to travel but, hate the preparation part.
On our last trip to NJ, the wheel on one of my bags were damaged. Did I bother to put in a claim? No way, it wasn't worth the trouble. I am kicking myself because I need a working bag and traveling with a 3-legged bag just won't cut it. Thankfully there are very good deals at the Luggage Stores and hopefully there will be one with my name written all over it.
Question: Do you like to travel? What is your preferred mode of transportation?

Gold for Sale!
Have you ever sold any of your gold pieces? I keep seeing all of these commercials about selling your gold so, I went into our stash of back in the day jewelry and asked my husband if he would be interested in selling our gold. He said NO WAY! These are MEMORIES and they will never be replaced and there's NO price for memories.
I told him the rate of gold and he stopped for a minute to think long and hard on it. Talking about we should sell the gold rope and hoops too. See, now he's TRIPPING! No one said anything about the door knocker earrings. He plays too much. Looks like we will NOT be selling any of our gold. Hah!
Have you sold any of your gold? Were you satisfied with the payoff?
Try not to LAUGH too hard at the BLING! LOL!!!

Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story-Lifetime Movie
This past week, I received an advance screening of the Lifetime Movie, Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story-Lifetime Movie
Click HERE to see the preview.
The movie was very heart wrenching and one thing that stood out as always, when you have an instinct, follow it. Tiffany Rubin and Jeff Lee shared custody of their son, Kobe. During the father's visitation rights of a week long visit, he kidnapped their son and took him to Seoul, South Korea for 7 months.
According to the movie, the grandmother voiced her distrust of the trip but, since the court appointed documents stated the father would have the one week visit, there wasn't much they could do.
During this time, Tiffany along with countless of other resources including Mark Miller, the founder of the American Association For Lost Children.
I would highly recommend tuning in to the Lifetime movie to see the story of reuniting a family and the trials they encounter to bringing her son home!

Booth update! And a facebook favor request~
Hi, I just thought maybe I'd try to reach as many peeps as possible
with this-
As ridiculous as this is, I thought maybe you'd get a kick out of
seeing me make a silly of myself in a JINGLE CONTEST to meet and greet
(plus have tickets) to an upcoming performance by my favorite artist,
TobyMac, at what is known as, the "Winter Wonderland Slam Tour". He
has a "crew" that jams with him, and as far as Christian music goes, I
consider it "top urban hip hop funtastic"!
So if it weren't for a creative burst of lyrics while waiting at the
dentist this morning, and a friend walking in as I "set up" for
filming, this wouldn't have happened...
Below is the direct link for you to watch and laugh at me. Please
"like" it. That's it. I'd really appreciate it. Or be your best
friend. Whichever you prefer. I'm game.

ps- all is well on the Booth front! P-Daddy (Patrick) is 13yrs into
his career, doing very well, happy and healthy and I'm happily his. I
have been much better from recovering over a year of EBV virus/Chronic
Fatigue and neurological sufferings (follow up MRI in a month). I am
on a minimal and decent low amount of medication daily to assist.
Driving and being my kids mom again has brought me joy beyond words
and expression! Sean (10) is quite the athlete and student. (just made
the honor roll!) We haven't committed to anything beyond flag
football, but he has great defensive skills, throws amazing spiral
"Hail Mary's" and has velcro paws for catching. Bryan (8) is a great
comedic relief like his dad. Not a day goes by I don't laugh or smile
at how wonderful he is and loving towards us all. Kevin (5) is in
Kindergarten and has excelled beyond what was expected of him. It was
exactly what he needed, and he especially enjoys making new friends
and being "the Teacher of the Day". Clara (4) began preschool T/Th and
makes more crafts than I've been able to keep! I love it! She likes to
paint, she sings and dances, and somehow keeps up with the boys and
has tough skin! She is a FUN girl. I like having her home still, she
is starting Kinder later this year "( *whah!*
