I channeled my calm place and just stared as she filled out the check, hands it over to the cashier all the while they're still CHATTING IT UP!

Veins popping out of my forehead and neck.  I need to SCREAM.  Who does stuff like this?  WHO??????

The jacket hood was covering his eyes. He couldn't see the trashcans and crashed into them. I guess I could have put down the camera to help him AVOID the crash! Nahhhh!!!! Any photographer knows to CAPTURE the shot and then save the child! Ahhahahahaaa.

I completely forgot DJ had a homework assignment due for school the next day. Of course I had to break the news to him. To my surprise, he didn't complain. He was excited to do it. Apparently, if and when you turn in homework, you will receive a star on the board. Whew. That was a close one.
From this moment on, I will be sure to get right on homework with him after school and not wait until Sunday night for a homework cram session right before bed.

The shopping Cart Adventures

The shopping carts at CVS are perfect . Gracen fit perfectly in the front of the cart! 90% off clearance section here we come! We snagged 9 cent mini gift bags and more! SCORE! She was occupied trying to remove the seatbelt! Safety first baby girl! Safety first!

I am not a fan of junk mail. I know it's a way and part of life. I never throw away any piece of mail without opening and inspecting the contents. Thank goodness! I received a welcome to the disney club packet. I NEVER joined and have NO intentions of joining the club. Enclosed were (you are special, happy birthday) stickers and personalized labels! FREEBIE SCORE! Thanks Disney! Needless to say, this junk mail wasn't a total waste or junk after all.

9-10 month routines

I just re-evaluated the daily routine with Gracen. She's in bed by 9pm and wakes up around 2-5am for the past few weeks. What is a realistic SLEEP-AWAKE time for a 9-10 month old baby? What am I doing wrong? Maybe 2-5am isn't an unreasonable wake time if she's going to bed at 9pm? Who knows. I guess the fact is, I wasn't ready for this abrupt change. Everything was going so smoothly. The routine was smooth sailing. She slept through the night.

NOW!!!!???? I just don't know. Back to the drawing board.

Darrin isn't any help.  He just says awww she's so cute.  Please, don't let her cry it out in the crib.  *sigh* Someone please, help!!!

My baby is trying to boss me around!!!

I am trying to pinpoint what exactly is going on with Gracen. For the past few days she has been waking up in the very EARLY hours of the morning. 

After changing and feeding her, all is well in her world. The problem is, these series of event are occuring during the hours of 2-5am. The times vary. I am not quite awake myself and always forget to check the clock. 

I move through these events with one eye opened and just pray she's back to sleep within 30 minutes. For the most part, she goes back to sleep. The bad and off part is, I fall asleep holding her which means we're all in the bed come morning.

As you can see from this photo, Gracen doesn't have a problem with it. *sigh*

Why are my cousins Blocking traffic?-You know what!

I've mentioned this before, the streets in our neighborhood are VERY narrow. Why are my cousins blocking the road? They are having a serious family reunion right here in the  middle of the road.

I am going to behave myself and just talk trash about them on my blog.

Please, pull your car into the driveway to continue the family reunion there. You see little John-John that looks like he's ready to run straight into traffic at any given time right?

This neighborhood cracks me up for no good reason. This is going to be the LONGEST THREE years ever!
