DJ on the other hand needs a little more coaxing. I start with turning on the radio, lights and opening the blinds. Pulling back the covers and tickling him until he's in a good mood to get up. This is why if we're going somewhere, I have to go through a process with him OR the day will get off to a rocky start.
My good friend James posted on his FB that he wakes up his kids in a Scooby Doo voice and they love it. I tried it the next morning and it worked like a charm. DJ loved it and now looks forward to the funny voices I make when waking him up. Thanks James for the tip. It takes a village!

Love this picture!! Okay, I am soooo jealous @ "waiting patiently for someone to come and get her". If Kalissa gets up before me she instantly beats on her crib and CRIES until someone gets her. Makes for a lovely morning! :)
That's a great idea ! I can actually remember my mother singing to wake me and my sister up when we were very young.
