It's time to introduce some food to baby Gracen soon! What are some healthy food choices to feed babies ages 4 mos and up? What kinds of food does your baby love to eat?

I took my baby girl to the pediatrician because her acne wasn't improving. The only remedy was to "GIVE IT TIME" to clear up on its own. I have to be honest, that was a hard pill to swallow. It hurt my heart to see my beautiful baby girl with bumps all over her face, neck and ears. As hard as it seems, time will clear it up along with taking these steps. (Always consult a doctor) 1. Use a mild/yet cleaning effective detergent to wash the entire family laundry. Your baby's face will come in contact with your clothing so be sure it's clean. Wash baby's face with clear water and blot dry. 2. Shield baby's face from hands, kisses and other germ producing elements as much as possible. 3. Reduce/limit sun exposure (use a sun shielding hat) on baby. Good Luck and remember this is only temporary, your baby's face will clear up in due time. Please add any other suggestions that have worked for your baby's acne.

My friends know how much I really can't stand dogs.

This one dog in particular cracks me up.

He knows good and well that I cannot stand dogs and what does he do every single time I come over?

Finds a way to come and sit up under me.

Gotta love this dog! Hey, I'm the visitor, this is his home and he can do whatever the heck he pleases!

There can be a room full of people, he will seek me out to lick my leg or rub his ass up against my leg.

One day I am truly going to fight that dog. LOL

Went to The Picture People to have our family photo taken. They were booked solid so, I did the next best thing, asked a perfect stranger to snap the shot for us!

DJ and Gracen were very excited about the photo can't you tell?

Oh well....at least we have an updated photo with all of us in it.

Welcome Home Charlie!

My friend Deedra and her beautiful family welcomed Charlie into their lives this past weekend! It's been a whirlwind of excitement anticipating his arrival back here to California and we are thrilled he's here safe and sound.

They have a long road ahead of them as the adoption process is an ongoing journey. I know that whatever God has planned for their family will be a decision that we all will agree is the best for their family.
