Every Sunday morning before our church time changed to 9am :) I would make Waffles, Eggs, and Bacon!! Although I love pancakes. My hubby and the girls prefer waffles so that always wins!!
Ooooh, when we cook breakfast on the weekends, its a toss up between sausage biscuits, biscuits and gravy, or grits with sausage and eggs and biscuits.
We mostly cook breakfast on the weekends, but during the Christmas holidays, the family gather at my house for breakfast of, grits, eggs, bacon, sausage and country ham with red eye gravy. After breakfast they are too stuffed and slow to get moving to finish up their last minute shopping! I just love it!

My favorite family tradition breakfast is these German potato pancakes that my inlaws make on Christmas morning. My mother in law is German, and her father came to the U.S. from German in the early 20th century. He brought this tradition with him. On Christmas morning at my inlaws they make the potato pancakes (with bacon in them, and topped with applesauce) and eat them with Christmas Schtolen. macd82 at gmail dot com
