My favorite movie moment - a few years back my kids talked me into going to a movie with them that starred a certain comedic actor that I just can't stand. Within the first five minutes I couldn't stand it anymore and stood up and said "I can't believe we paid money to watch this trash!" Realizing that I had actually stood up and said that out loud mortified me! To this day we get a good laugh out of it when someone brings it up.

My most favorite movie moment was fairly soon after my husband and I became first-time parents. The grandparents offered to watch the baby so we could go out. I let my hubs pick the movie and we went out for a bite first. We agreed to one rule: we could think about the baby but not talk about her. It was hard to do but we had a great time reconnecting just the two of us. Over Star Trek...LOL

When my adult daughter had just gotten her own apartment, she used to come to visit us, and we'd go to the movies. First we HAD to buy candy to eat during the movie, and then when "ET" was playing, she insisted I don't CRY when I think ET is going to die. Those were such good times together. Now we live too far apart and I miss her.

One of my favorite movie moments was when we were asked if they could use our car (a 1955 Chevy convertible) in the movie Sleeping with the Enemy while it was being filmed in a little town nearby. We spent an entire Saturday hanging out on the town square while they filmed the parade scene. DH drove our car with a beauty queen on the back. It took hours to film and was so much fun. The whole family got to be in the crowd scene and we could not wait to see the movie. It was almost like attending a premier and so much fun.

My favorite movie moment was when I watched a movie my fiance had written for the first time. We made it a special event by eating some tasty snacks during the movie.

I like the end of It's A Wonderful Life. We usually watch it at least once a year at Christmas.

When my younger daughter got her own apartment and job, she came to visit us, and I took her out to a movie. She "introduced" me to "her" way of going to a movie. FIRST you have to stop and buy some candy. And you aren't "allowed" to dry during a movie! She was so funny.

I organized a friend's birthday party ( he likes dogs and the film was "Best In Show" ) by inviting everyone else to join just the two of us at the theater. We had Zingers too!

My boyfriend and I were able to see the premiere of District 9 in California this summer. It was amazing because it was the beginning of new relationship and we able to share something new together!
