Whatever happened to the original GOODY barrettes for little girls? You know the ones that used to come about 30-40 in a package? Target, Walmart and Babies 'R Us---are all a NO GO!

I hear ya. I bought barettes for Jay and they just won't hold. I ended up going to the Korean hair shop and buying a bunch for .99. Those kinds of stores can hook you up with barettes.

The goody barettes are okay for fine thin hair, but not if your baby has thick hair.

I believe I saw them in the hair dept. at Pavillions. Try your supermarket, you might get lucky.

My friend had given me a bunch for Alyssa when she hardly had any hair. Nothing else would stay in. I have no clue where to find them as that was years ago and they were not in the stores when I checked.

I actually think I saw them at the Koby Swap meet come to think about it. Anyway, that does you no good :-)

I totally hear you! I've been looking for those for months now. I also miss seeing little girls with ribbons in their hair...

I hope your big girl enjoyed her day.

Co-sign with Leigh. I usually go to the "hair store" a few times a year and stock up on barettes and balls for .99/pack!
