New! Fun and Exciting Events coming to Disneyland!!!--4th Annual Disney's California Food & Wine Festival-What will you celebrate?

My family and I were excited to experience the 4th Annual Disney's California Food & Wine Festival ( From April 24 through June 7, featuring more than 600 experiences, many of them complimentary, including wine and spirits seminars, culinary demonstrations and a Junior Chef program for children) we were informed of the new Games of the Boardwalk on Paradise Pier.

While they were off to enjoy the festivities, I joined a group of bloggers and representatives from Disney to discover all the new, fun and exciting events that are being planned for the Summer of 2009.

Our first stop was the Celebration Roundup and Barbeque Lunch.  My favorite topic: FOOD!  YUM! Located at Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland, Celebration Roundup and Barbecue features family-style table service with a menu of barbecue chicken and ribs, corn cob wheels, ranch beans, cole slaw, cornbread, watermelon slices and a unique surprise dessert.

I met Woody!  HILARIOUS!

There's ALWAYS FUN to be had at Disneyland! My #1 suggestion is to go and have a great time and enjoy all the thrills and excitement!

Guests, Dancers, Disney Characters Take to the Streets for 

Exuberant New Disneyland Show

Not that you're surprised but, I was in the PARADE too!  HaHa!  

Belly and all--there I was strolling in the parade joining in on the fun.  Hey!  It's DISNEYLAND, you're SUPPOSED to have a good time.  After all, it's the happiest place on earth!

After the parade, we went to a presentation that gave us the inside scoop on what to expect for the Summer of 2009.

I am looking forward to seeing the newly revamped SUMMER NIGHTASTIC! 

Nighttime shows and parades come to life – bigger, better and brighter in this special summer event. Spectacular, state-of-the-art effects, plus an all-new fireworks show highlight the sparkling summer entertainment that runs June 12 through August 23.

His enthusiasm for Disney shows that he absolutely LOVES his job and takes great pride in bringing the public the best show ever!
