I haven’t had any serious cravings. There’s nothing that I go crazy over and just have to have. If there’s one favorite food or drink, I’ll have to say Geyser’s Pomegranate Drink.
I drink ice water every single day. I have a favorite 16 oz cup that I fill up about 4 times a day and that’s my fill for the day. Boring I know!
What's been your wackiest craving so far?
I crunch on ice. It’s a HORRIBLE habit. I am afraid that I’m anemic again. My recent blood work confirmed that I’m not. My teeth hate me.
Do You have a lot of heartburn?
No. I haven’t experienced any heartburn.
You only have 17 days!? Wow! How are you feeling?
I’m feeling anxious and excited.
With this pregnancy was it any different from your previous two? And if any, what were the differences?
My first pregnancy was a blur. I was very young and was still in High School. I graduated in June and gave birth in September. I didn’t experience any problems. The day of the delivery, I had to have an emergency c-section. They put me out for it. I must have been TRIPPING hard huh? LOL
My second pregnancy was smooth sailing. No issues. No bloating, No pain. The only "hiccup" happened was when I turned 20 weeks and found out I had Placentia Previa. Let the STRESSing begin. I bled at 36 weeks and my son was delivered a preemie. He was 5 pounds. He was fine. Didn’t need oxygen and was breathing on his own from day one.
Day three, he had jaundice, which resulted in him staying in the hospital for 2 more days. Thankfully the hospital allowed me to stay too. Well, you know I wasn't going home without my baby anyway!
This pregnancy, overall, I feel great. I’ve gained 25 pounds, my feet are swollen and I’ve lost my ass but, other than that, I’m great! My only ‘advice’ to anyone considering having a baby, please try if possible to have all your babies before you turn 40. Again, if you're over 40 and still working on having a baby, that's OK too. I've just noticed at this stage in my life, my bones tend to make noises and it takes a little bit of time to get up to go and pee. Hah!
What is the best thing about being pregnant?
The best part about being pregnant is knowing that you’ve been chosen by God to bring a beautiful life into the world.
What is the worst part of being pregnant?
The nightmares. I’ve been experiencing the most awful nightmares this pregnancy. I wake up in a sweat because it seems that the nightmares are so real it’s scary! Another thing I think is the worst part is the ‘worry’ factor. You have to keep your thoughts in check and try not to ‘worry’ about every little twitch or wondering if everything is OK like every single day. It’s normal to feel this way but, I think it’s just the downside of being pregnant because you’re worrying and wondering what if this, what if that.
Are you at all concerned with reclaiming your school girl figure after you have the baby?
I’m not as concerned as I should be. I need to get serious about this. I would LOVE to get my school girl figure back.
Have you gotten any comments from people about having another child?
Wow! That’s a huge age gap. Did you plan it that way?
Why did you wait so long to have more?
Was this a planned pregnancy?
Are you planning to have more?

Are you planning to have more?
Were you trying? How long did you try?
Or have people not said anything because your oldest is so much older?
I wish people would NOT say anything or at least not say anything off the wall to me. Whatever happened to just saying CONGRATS and moving along? Seriously!

It would make things much easier. But, NO there’s always that one donkey in the crowd with some off the wall comment.
Perfect example, Danyelle was in the nursery taking care of DJ when he was born and a nurse questioned if they had the same father. WTF??????? Oh, you’re the sister? By the same dad?
REALLY??????????? You’re asking my daughter this question. Makes me annoyed that I taught her to respect her elders. Hah!
I am wondering if you had any morning sickness and if so, what did you do for it????

I am STILL UNFORTUNATELY HAVING MORNING sickness. Please, don't let this discourage you if you're pregnant or trying to get pregnant. Everyone's pregnancy is different. With my other two pregnancies, I NEVER experienced any sickness. I guess I'm just lucky this time around? Sigh.
I thought you had a hysterectomy how is it possible that you're having a baby now?
I never said I had a hysterectomy. When I was first diagnosed with multiple uterine fibroids, the first doctor gave me little hope and offered a hysterectomy. I "fired him" that day, found a new doctor and had a myomectomy performed in 2001. My newly found awesome and amazing doctor took very good care of me which resulted in my baby making parts being SAVED! We were blessed with our son in 2004 and a baby on the way in May 2009. We don't take our blessings lightly.
What will you miss most about this pregnancy?
Feeling my sweet baby move inside of me. It’s the most beautiful feeling ever.
What do you do when you're dead drop tired at 5pm and you still have to shower DJ and no one else is in the house, and there is still dinner to be prepared, but all you can do is just lay down and not move a single muscle?
I just lay (or lie?) down (send out a text for daddy or big sister to bring home dinner) and not move a single muscle. I’ve learned to not stress out when things like this happen. I’m pregnant, growing a life inside of me. It takes all of my energy, they understand or they starve. Even DJ can make a turkey sandwich!
Now, my all time favorite question:
@Tanyetta: I am REALLY trying to figure out how someone like you always gets people acting like they can just talk to you any kind of way. You're too dang sweet for all this nonsense. These fools act like you're a threat their peace of mind.
This is a very interesting question because I’ve often wondered the same thing. I would like to think I’m a pretty cool person. I'm not perfect. I can be sweet, sour or downright in your face if I have to be. But, for the most part, I’m easy like Sunday Morning. It's not that serious to get all up in arms over an internet 'beef' ---Blogging will never become a burden to me. Once it does, then it’s time to pull the plug!
I don’t have "beef" with anyone that I know of and the ones that I don’t get along with aren’t in my life anyway so, they don’t really count.
I’ve noticed people that leave these ‘rude’ comments hide behind an anonymous or fictitious name. They take the coward way out, leave a snarky comment then run. When you try to respond to their email (noreply-comment@blogger.com) comes up.

It’s like they take time to create a profile and purposely omit their contact information for what? To be able to post comments and hide behind a made up profile. WHATEVS!!!!!
It’s quite hilarious and sad all at the same time. Maybe it's true what you said, I am a THREAT to them. They're pissed about my existence or something I suppose.
What they don’t realize is, once I make it my business to track down their IP address and check them on their sh*t, it will be on like popcorn!

To sum it all up: I just don’t have the time nor energy (sound familiar) to even care.
Oh and did I mention, I'm going to Disneyland!!!!
HaHa!!!

Hi Tanyetta! I don't think I ever got a chance to tell you many congratulations on your newest addition. I hope that all goes well and you have a wonderful delivery!
My wife only wanted to chew on ice from Sonic. It had to be from Sonic or else she didn't want it.
I am an ICE SNOB too! McDonald's has the best ice. Sad that I know this but, it's true. They're just the right size and crunches with ease.
