Yup, that pretty much summed up their reaction to it all. LOL
Needless to say, with a great deal of support, love and understanding from people that took a chance on us knowing that we would be alright, we survived. 20+ years later and a lot of praying and dedication, we're still here going at this parenting thing together as a family. Ya'll keep praying for us alright? LOL
Still, my heart goes out to this young couple. They're 13 and 15 and they're parents.

Little family ... Alfie, Chantelle and baby Maisie
Sounds like these young parents (ages 13 and 15) will have tons of support from their family and they're going to be alright! I hope. Bless their hearts.
Do you think age 13 and 15 is too young to have a baby? Would it matter if they were married? I know most people think it's only right to bring a baby into the world if you're married. How young is too young? How old is too old?

Oh my GAWWWD! I have no words Girl.
I can't get over the fact that they both look like they're in Elementary school.
Holy crap - that boy looks seven! I'm sick over this.
Unbelievable [he looks my son's age] no wait...EVEN YOUNGER!
WOW...
Just wow!!!
Oh and I really hit the ceiling when I read this part of the news article:
"He is allowed to stay overnight and even has a school uniform there so he can go straight to his classes in the morning."
*faints*
Okay, I'm wobbly but I will try to type. That boy looks like 5 or 6. I read the article and it is good that they have family support. I mean what are the parents to do at this point but be supportive. I keep looking at Alfie especially, thinking to myself that he doesn't even look as though he would know what to do with his business to get a girl pregnant. That's how young he looks to me.
I feel sad for them because there goes their childhood. That was very brave of them to decide to have this baby at this tender age.
The young father looks eight just as the article suggests.
