Something new is going on with today’s posting!
This one is a guest entry from the first born, me – DANYELLE!!!
So a couple of days ago my mom asked me for some ideas on what to write or if I would like to write a post just for kicks.
I thought about it for a few days and finally realized the perfect topic I could reveal.
You know how funny it is when she finds things that other people do to be absurd, let's turn the heat around on her!! Let's hope she doesn’t get too bothered I brought it up and will know that it’s all in good fun!
I’m sure everyone does things differently in their home to get simple chores done. Whether it is washing the dishes, laundry or vacuuming. All the way down to where extra napkins should be stored in case the table runs out.
I’ve learned that whoever does whatever task the most- they seem to develop their own habits on how to get the job done the fastest and easiest!
My mom is on this new thing about saving plastic bags to use them for the trash cans around the house. Ok! So in her mind, the easiest place is to put them at the bottom of the garbage pail - Right!??? Of course! So when the trash is full and it's time to change the pail, you have a new bag waiting underneath. Pure Brilliance. But, WAIT...
This is where it gets interesting. My mom puts bags at the bottom but, she always puts WAAAYYYY TOOOOO MANY!!!
It’s a little rinky dinky pail JAMMMMMED PACCKKKKED with bags and it gets to point where there isn’t enough room to put trash inside!!!
Oh don’t worry I have proof!!!

Example: Here’s a garbage can with considerably waayyy tooo many bags inside.
Notice the depth of the pail and how close the bags reach the top!

Now this picture shows all it takes to fill up the can is 2 tissues!! Something as small as tissues and then it’s time to change the bag again!…repeat….blow DJ nose…repeat….wipe off a counter…repeat…..throw away some lint, 2 buttons and a cracker….repeat…..WHEN DOES THE MADNESS END!!! Hahahaaha
My little brother even knows how crazy this is!
Soooooooo, my dear sweet Mom I’m asking you. PLEASSSE not so many bags!!! I'll make sure there’s an efficient ratio between extra bags and trash space! Please and Thank you!
Disclaimer: If this post lands me in hot water, I'll call Grandma. She always bails me out of jams! HaHaHa!!

Don't worry mom. I had the same problem. I must confess, I too put the trash bags at the bottom of the pail. I used to put too much but not that much. Geez woman. What gives?
Oh my goodness, this is hilarious! I don't know what is funnier - your bag "issue" or the fact that Danyelle posted a photo of it. Too funny. I'm glad my kids aren't old enough to blog yet, or I'd be in big trouble!
Don't feel bad, Tan. I have an obsession with plastic bags too. They're crowding out everything I keep underneath the kitchen sink.

My mother stuffs them in to a cabinet of their own. I throw them away, said I would recycle them but that's extra work, lol.

It's okay to leave bags at the bottom, but I use the store bought that are rolled up and thin. Store bags are too bulky and don't compact well.
Suggestion: A plastic bag holder in the same room underneath a cabinet for convenience.
