My daughter and I went to see this movie-The Secret Life of Bees for our girls day out. The movie was very good. I didn't know what the movie was about BEFORE going to so, I had an open and clear mind without knowing what the synopsis was or anything.
I highly recommend going to watch it for the unfolding of a beautiful story of love, forgiveness, coming to age and awareness, strength of family, friends and more.
My eyes watered on a few parts and I laughed on a few parts too. Overall, it was a good movie and I would recommend you checking it out. If you're the type to wait for it on DVD, that's ok too.

Jada Pinkett-Smith was so excited about getting this movie produced, she stopped by CBS to talk about it. I have to say, she's always FAB!
After the movie, we went out to eat and had some really interesting girl talk. All I gotta say is, my daughter is too funny. She has decided to get a tattoo and wanted my feedback. Yeah.........pass the salsa, this was going to be a LONG dinner date. LOL

I went with my daughters too. My 7 year old was traumatized, the 11 year old loved it. I usually honor the pg-13 rating, but this time they begged because of all the stars. What can you do...
