Yeah it does seem to be a remake, i saw the original...me loving oldies n everything, and it was good...i'm lookin forward to seeing this one too! I'm all for the girl power thing :)

I was forced to watch the original in college and at that time, the refernces to "Jungle Red" was the only thing that stuck out. Now that I'm grown, I cannot wait to see it.
