Did you know 8 out of 10 women are wearing the WRONG size bra?
Are you in that number? When was the last time you were professionally fitted?
I've been in a major need of some new bras. Our local Macy's sponsored a Fit Matters event. Hey!! Any reason to hang out with your mommy friends. The event was during the day which meant we had to bring our kids with us to this fun filled event. We took the kids to Wetzel's to get some treats before the big event.
His FORCED smile. Don't you love it. I am going to stop asking for smiles. It looks downright painful. I love him for the effort!
When we arrived to the event, there was apple cider and cookies in the waiting room. The fitting event was sponsored by Vanity Fair and the bras were reasonably priced and the special was buy one and get the second half off. You can't beat that!
Once our kids overloaded on the sweet junk, their blood sugars rose to an all time high and the ruckus began.
Thank goodness for Megan and her quick thinking, she began story time with one of the Vanity Fair brochures. Yes, our dear children learned all about bras and the various types of fits for women. Hey, when you're desperate, you'll come up with anything to buy 15 more minutes.

If you're looking to get rid of the saggy business in the bra business, go to your local Macy's or any other department store that specializes in professionally fitting you. I was able to use my recent winnings to purchase my bras. I would suggest Victoria Secret but, I haven't graduated to spending $50 for ONE bra. No way. Not yet. One day. No time soon of course. If you can swing $50 per bra then by all means go for it!

After the event, I treated DJ to the Library event of bird catcher making. Of course he growled when I tried to help him. I'm a big boy, I can do it myself.
Let's go off topic for a minute. Where's Niecy Nash? Who is this chick that has replaced her on the show? She looks familiar. I've seen her somewhere. She should go back. I'm NOT liking the switch up. I need the hair, the flower in her hair and my favorite part....the loudness. I miss everything and all that is Niecy. If you see her, tell her to come back. Thanks.
Remember his buddy Brian? We saw him at the event and the boys were inseparable after that.

Oh, I so want that BioFit bra from Vicky's. But I, too, refuse to spend that much.

$50 per bra is the MAIN reason I am so happy about being small busted.

Cute pics! Niecy was off filming a project so they brought in a replacement for a few episodes, she is still on the show so no worries (I had the same response and was about to get mad if she wasn't returning).
OK so I'm heavy busted and $50 bras would be a bargain for me. I wear Wacoal and normally drop $60 or more on the same bra but in different colors btwn black, white, and taupe - Oh the downside of biggumz! Oh and that's after TWO breast reductions!
That reminds me, my favorite bra just died and have to go get a new one.

I am all messed up.
I am still nursing so my cup size can vary. I went and got measured and the woman told me I was a DD. I don't think so. Plus I am losing weight so the size is weird.
One of the things I learned is that we tend to go higher in the cup size and lower on the width - hopeful thinking I guess. :)
Oh, I know I'm not wearing the right bras, it seems like either the cups aren't quite right or the straps don't stay up. I like the ones in the Google ad in your sidebar :) But size FIFTY EIGHT? DANG!
Oh the perils of being a nursing mom. My nursing bras are anywhere near supportive enough, but they have to do. For now...
I have never been fitted before but I have heard of that statistic. Crazy! I am glad you found something for the girls. The brochures is funny! Whatever works, right?

I have yet to buy nursing bras for myself. I can't find any in the stores. I gotta shop online. I'm in sports bras, not the super tight ones. Man, I was pooped after reading about the bra fitting, then yall went to the library?! Wow!
I would go to Vicki's but her little azz don't make bras to fit "big girls" . . . awww the days when I could where the little cute lacy things.
OK, the bra fittings are an excellent idea because the wrong bra can KILL a back...
...I want to talk about bras but the taste for soft pretzels has me really distracted now...
